The Gene Pool was founded in 1999 by two advertising professionals who had grown weary of having too much to do, in too little time.  Desperate to put an end to their sleep-deprived days, they began to turn to talented freelancers for assistance.

Within a few months, they realized they had stumbled upon something…and it just had to be shared.  And thus…The Gene Pool was born.
